Lowcountry Whitetail Deer, Turkey, and Wild Hog Hunting Outfitter in South Carolina

Deerfield Plantation hunting outfitter in South Carolina combines world class, fair chase hunting in the lowcountry of South Carolina with comfortable lodging and unrivaled hospitality.

Why Hunt Deerfield Plantation-hunting outfitter in South Carolina?

Nearly 13,000 Acres. More Than 300 Stands. One Goal: A Great Hunt.

There are plenty of places to hunt in South Carolina. What makes Deerfield different isn’t one thing—it’s the combination of land, preparation, flexibility, hospitality, and a hunting experience that has been built around the hunter.

At Deerfield Plantation, you’ll hunt nearly 13,000 acres of private Lowcountry property for whitetail deer, wild turkey, and wild hogs. But acreage alone doesn’t make a great hunt. What matters is how that land is managed, how well your hunt is prepared, and how you’re treated while you’re here.

That’s where Deerfield stands apart.

A Lot of Ground Means More Options

Nearly 13,000 acres gives us something every hunter appreciates: options.

Deerfield has more than 300 stands and blinds positioned throughout the property. Our hunting areas include a variety of terrain, food sources, travel corridors, fields, woods, and habitat.

That allows us to match hunters with locations based on current conditions, recent activity, hunting method, experience level, and physical ability rather than simply sending everyone to the same handful of stands.

Whether you hunt with a rifle, bow, or crossbow, we’ll work to put you in a location that makes sense for you.

We Do the Work Before You Arrive

A successful hunt starts long before you climb into a stand.

Our guides continually scout the property and monitor hunting locations so we can make informed decisions about where to place hunters. Conditions change. Wildlife moves. Pressure matters.

We don’t believe in simply pointing toward a stand and hoping for the best.

When you arrive, our goal is to already have a plan.

Fair-Chase Hunting Without the Trophy-Fee Game

Deerfield offers fair-chase hunting for whitetail deer, wild turkey, and wild hogs.

And when it comes to deer hunting, we don’t charge trophy fees.

Some areas of the property have specific buck requirements as part of our management practices, and we’ll explain those requirements before you hunt. But we’re not going to put a price tag on your buck after you pull the trigger.

We want you thinking about the hunt—not calculating what an animal is going to cost you.

Hunting for Real People

Not every hunter is 25 years old and interested in climbing a tree.

With more than 300 stands across the property—including shooting houses, elevated box blinds, tripods, ground blinds, lock-ons, and other setups—we can accommodate hunters with different preferences, experience levels, ages, and physical abilities.

Tell us what you need.

Our job is to help put you in a position where you can hunt comfortably, safely, and confidently.

Your Hunt Doesn’t End When You Leave the Stand

Part of what makes Deerfield different is everything surrounding the hunt.

Stay right here on the property instead of driving back and forth to a hotel. Start the morning with a continental breakfast, come back for lunch after the morning hunt, and enjoy a home-cooked dinner around the day’s hunting schedule.

We’ll take you to your stand and pick you up when the hunt is finished. If you’re successful, we can clean and quarter your harvest or help arrange processing.

You came here to hunt.

We want you to be able to concentrate on exactly that.

Deer, Turkey and Hogs in the South Carolina Lowcountry

Deerfield offers opportunities throughout much of the year.

South Carolina’s long deer season provides opportunities ranging from early-season hunting—including the chance to hunt a buck still carrying velvet—to late-season Lowcountry whitetails.

Spring brings wild turkey season.

And wild hog hunting provides additional opportunities throughout the year.

That variety makes Deerfield a place hunters can return to for very different experiences from one season to another.

We Limit the Number of Hunters We Accept

Bigger isn’t always better.

Despite the size of the property, we accept a limited number of hunters. We would rather concentrate on providing a quality experience for the hunters who are here than simply put as many people in the woods as possible.

That philosophy affects everything from scouting and stand selection to meals, lodging, and the attention you receive during your stay.

Come to Deerfield to Hunt

We’re proud to be in the South Carolina Lowcountry. It’s a beautiful part of the country and there’s plenty to see beyond our property.

But that’s probably not why you’re looking at Deerfield.

You’re looking for a place to hunt.

That’s what we do.

Nearly 13,000 acres. More than 300 stands. Experienced guides. On-site lodging. Meals. Deer, turkey, and hog hunting. No trophy fees. And a team working to make your time here count.

If that sounds like the kind of hunting trip you’re looking for, we’d be glad to have you.
