South Carolina Deer Hunting, Turkey Hunting, and Wild Hog Hunting
Prior to the morning hunt a continental breakfast will be available. After the morning hunt lunch will be provided, or you can take that opportunity to explore the local area. Depending on the time of year a home cooked dinner will be served either prior to or after the evening hunt.
Our experienced guides work diligently ahead of your hunt to scout multiple locations to give you the highest chance of success. For each you hunt you will be taken to your stand and picked up upon the completion of the hunt.
After the hunt our team will clean and quarter your harvest for $40 per animal, or send to a local processor if you prefer.
South Carolina Guided Hunts For Deer, Turkey, and Wild Hog
We hunt deer, turkey, and wild hogs across nearly 13,000 acres in the lowcountry of SC from a variety of stands and blinds suited for hunters of all ages, skill levels, and physical capabilities. Stands are strategically placed throughout the property for rifle, crossbow, and bowhunting opportunities.
South Carolina Deer Hunting
South Carolina deer hunting season begins on August 15th, and runs through January 1st every year. Please check with SC DNR about whitetail bag limits and tag requirements online or via phone. We allow one buck or one doe to be harvested per sit, additional deer can be harvested in one sit for $350 per deer. Personal buck tags must be used at Deerfield. The property has their own doe tags. Hogs can be take during any deer hunt for $150 per hog.
South Carolina Turkey Hunting
South Carolina turkey hunting season generally begins on the first Friday of April and runs through the first Monday of May. There is a limit of 1 gobbler per day and the maximum per person per year is typically 2-3 birds depending on residency.
South Carolina Hog Hunting
South Carolina hog hunting is offered all year long with a maximum of one hog per sit. Additional hogs can be taken for $150 per hog. We are not legally allowed to bait for hogs from the middle of March until the end of turkey season.
South Carolina Hunting Package Rates Per Person
In order to maximize the experience of our hunters Deerfield Plantation accepts a limited number of hunters.
3 Day Hunt $1,800
4 Day Hunt $2,400
5 Day Hunt $3,000
6 Day Hunt $3,600
7 Day Hunt $4,200
*All hunts are semi-guided. Turkey hunts can be fully guided for an additional $200 per person per day.
Additional days can be added from $600 per day. Non-hunters can be added for an additional fee of $300 per day
All hunts are for a minimum of 3 days.
Deerfield Plantation requires a 50% deposit to reserve your hunt. Deposits can be paid mail with a check, or by phone with a credit card. The remaining balance on all hunts is due upon arrival and can be paid with cash, check, or credit card. All deposits are non refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled hunt if necessary.
