Located in St. George SC, in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Historic Deerfield Plantation offers a variety of semi-guided hunts for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, and Wild Hogs. Hunters of all ages and skill levels enjoy access to nearly 13,000 acres of prime Lowcountry hunting grounds.
The Walters family has called St. George SC home for more than 6 generations and takes an extreme amount of pride in working land that their family has been connected to for well over a hundred years.
Deerfield Plantation has been an operating hunting outfitter in South Carolina since 1989 and have knowledge of the area that can only be learned over many years.
In order to focus on the quality of the hunt Deerfield Plantation accepts a limited number of hunters for their South Carolina deer hunting packages, South Carolina turkey hunting packages, and South Carolina wild hog hunting packages. Focusing on smaller groups maximizes the overall experience of all guests of the South Carolina hunting lodge.
Deerfield Plantation is nestled among the pines and Spanish Moss draped oak trees of SC. Conveniently located off of both I26 and I95, Deerfield Plantation is just under an hour away from historic Charleston SC and Columbia SC.
Prior to the morning hunt a continental breakfast will be available. After the morning hunt lunch will be provided, or you can take that opportunity to explore the local area. Depending on the time of year a home cooked dinner will be served either prior to or after the evening hunt.
Our experienced guides work diligently ahead of your hunt to scout multiple locations to give you the highest chance of success. For each you hunt you will be taken to your stand and picked up upon the completion of the hunt.
After the hunt our team will clean and quarter your harvest for $40 per animal, or send to a local processor if you prefer.
